When Brittanie, Dave, and I visited our greenhouse last week to see the progress that Luke has been making we couldn't believe how far it has come! Things are just beginning to be harvested and before long we will have produce available. We will have tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cabbage, eggplant, onions, summer and winter squash, pumpkins, herbs and more to distribute.
Our goal is to provide fresh produce to members of our community that are in need, and we will be donating to places such as the neighborhood centers and food pantries. However, last week I also received many messages from people inquiring if we would have vegetables available for purchase. We will soon have an abundance of produce available, so we will also be reaching out each week to anyone that is interested in donating to offset the cost of seeds, plants, and maintaining the garden and greenhouse.
Look for our posts and email notifications to find out what herbs and vegetables will be available each week.
Fill out the contact information below, send me a message, and let me know you would like to be on our list!
We are also beginning to develop our perennial flower bed, and we are in search of flowers. If you have any that you will be dividing and would like to contribute to the S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P., Inc. greenhouse then we would love to hear from you.
Watch for more emails and updates soon!
