As SNAP benefits are set to change on November 1st, many in our community are facing uncertainty about how they’ll put food on the table. At S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P., we believe that no one should have to face hunger alone — and together, we can make a difference.
We’re organizing a non-perishable food drive during the month of November to help bridge the gap for those most affected. Donations will first be used to support our warming center and S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P., Inc. tenants, ensuring that our most vulnerable neighbors have access to nutritious meals during this transition.
Any food remaining at the end of the week will be shared with the Neighborhood Center, extending the impact of your generosity even further throughout our community.
If you’re able, please consider donating non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, or shelf-stable proteins. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps nourish hope.
Together, we can make sure everyone in our community has what they need to stay warm, fed, and cared for this season.
Donations can be dropped off at S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P., Inc. located at 1515 Knox Street in Ogdensburg, Monday through Friday 8 am — 5 pm at the front desk.
